1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. REGIONAL YOUTH HOUSING, WORKFORCE, AND COMMUNITY​
1.6SERVICES HUB.​
1.7 $5,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of employment​
1.8and economic development for a grant to Youthprise to predesign, design, construct, renovate,​
1.9furnish, and equip property located at 340 Cedar Street in the city of St. Paul to provide​
1.10space for a housing cooperative, nonprofit organization programming and administration,​
1.11workforce development and community wellness services, community gathering, and other​
1.12resources to serve communities around the state.​
1.13 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.​
