1.2 relating to taxation; local government aids; increasing the appropriation for soil​
1.3 and water conservation district aid; amending Minnesota Statutes 2024, section​
1.4 477A.23, subdivision 6.​
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 477A.23, subdivision 6, is amended to read:​
1.7 Subd. 6.Appropriation.For aids payable in 2023 and 2024, $15,000,000 is appropriated​
1.8in each year from the general fund to the commissioner of revenue to make the payments​
1.9required under this section. For aids payable in 2025 and thereafter, $12,000,000 is annually​
1.10appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of revenue to make the payments​
1.11required under this section. For aids payable in 2026 and thereafter, $16,000,000 is annually​
1.12appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of revenue to make the payments​
1.13required under this section.​
1.14 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective for aids payable in 2026 and thereafter.​
