1.2 relating to arts and cultural heritage; appropriating money for Minnesota​

1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; MINNESOTA TRANSPORTATION MUSEUM.​
1.6 $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the arts and cultural heritage fund​
1.7to the Minnesota Historical Society for a grant to the Minnesota Transportation Museum​
1.8to construct capital improvements to the Minnesota Transportation Museum in the city of​
1.9St. Paul, including replacing the roof, stabilizing masonry, replacing the roundhouse doors,​
1.10installing insulation, and making modifications to comply with the Americans with​
1.11Disabilities Act. This appropriation is available until the project is completed or abandoned,​
1.12subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.​
