school-sponsoredactivities;aswellasinsuranceforthebenefit
ofstudentstoinsureagainstlossesresultingfromlossof,theft
of,ordamagetopersonalpropertyofstudents.
PROPONENTS: Supporterssaythatthebillallowsforjobshadowing,
internships,industryledprojectsandisgoodforbusinessesthat
needworkerswhowouldbeprovidedwiththeknowledge,skillsand
ability. Thebillmakesiteasierforbusinessestosponsoron-
the-jobprogramsforstudents. Thepurchaseofariderunderthis
billissimilartoriderspurchasedforsportsevents.Ittakes
someoftheinsuranceliabilityandresponsibility offthe
businessesandtheschoolswouldabsorbsomeoftheliabilityby
purchasingtherider.
