SectionA.Chapter1,RSMo,isamendedbyaddingtheretoonenewsection,tobe

1.511.1.Thereisherebyestablishedthe"Twenty-FirstCenturyInnovationHub
2TaskForce".
3 2.Thetaskforceshallconsistof:
4 (1)Fivemembersofthehouseofrepresentatives,withthreememberstobe
5appointedbythespeakerofthehouseofrepresentatives,atleastoneofwhomisa
6memberofthecommitteeoneconomicdevelopment,andtwomemberstobeappointed
7bytheminorityleaderofthehouseofrepresentatives;
8 (2)Threemembersofthesenate,withtwomemberstobeappointedbythe
9presidentprotemporeofthesenateandonemembertobeappointedbytheminority
10leaderofthesenate;
11 (3)Thecommissionerofeducationorthecommissioner'sdesignee;
12 (4)Onememberrepresentingthedepartmentofhighereducationand
13workforcedevelopment,appointedbythecommissionerofhighereducation;
14 (5)OnememberwhoisontheboardofcuratorsoftheUniversityofMissouri,
15appointedbythespeakerofthehouse;
16 (6)Onememberrepresentingotherpublicuniversitiesinthestate,appointedby

46technical,andbilldraftingservicesasthetaskforcemayrequireintheperformanceof

48 5.Membersofthetaskforceshallservewithoutcompensation,butthemembers
49andanystaffassignedtothetaskforceshallreceivereimbursementforactualand
50necessaryexpensesincurredinattendingmeetingsofthetaskforceorany
51subcommitteethereof.Alltaskforcemembersshallbesubjecttothesameconflict-

59ontheareasofagriculturaltechnology,healthsciences,andfoodtechnology,andto
60createmorejobsinthetechnologysector.
61 8.Thetaskforceshallreportasummaryofitsactivitiesandany
62recommendationsforlegislationtothegeneralassemblybeforeAugust28,2023.
63 9.(1)ThetaskforceshallsuspenditsoperationsonJanuary1,2024.Atsuch
64time,allmembersofthetaskforceshallberelievedoftheirpositionsonthetaskforce.
65 (2)ThetaskforceshallresumeitsoperationsonJanuary1,2025,withanewset
66ofmemberstobeselectedinthemannerofsubsection2ofthissection.Thenewchair
67andthenewvicechairofthetaskforceshallbedesignatedundersubsection3ofthis
