Thisbillestablishesthe"21stCenturyInnovationHubTaskForce".
Themembershipofthetaskforceincludesbutisnotlimitedto
fivemembersoftheHouseofRepresentatives withthreemembersto
beappointedbytheSpeaker,twomemberstobeappointedbythe
MinorityLeader,threemembersoftheSenatewithtwomemberstobe
appointedbythePresidentProTemandonemembertobeappointed
bytheMinorityLeader.Theremainingmembershipisexplainedin
thebillandincludesseveralothermemberstobeappointedbythe
SpeakeroftheHouseofRepresentatives aswellasthedesignation
oftheChairoftheTaskForcewiththeViceChairdesignation
beingmadebythePresidentProTem.
ThemissionoftheTaskForceistomaximizeandexpandexisting
industriesthatspurtechnologicalinnovationthroughoutthestate.
TheTaskForcewillmakerecommendations forlegislationaswellas
submitareportoutliningasummaryofTaskForceactivitiestothe
GeneralAssemblybeforeAugust28,2023.TheTaskForcewill
suspendoperationsonJanuary1,2024andreconveneonJanuary1,
2025toprovideupdatesandreviewrecommendations tobepresented
byAugust28,2025.
TheseprovisionsshallsunsetonSeptember1st,12yearsafterthe
effectivedate.

hubsthroughoutthestateofMissouriandcreatejobopportunities
