ThisbillwillrequiretheStateBoardofEducationtodevelopa "drivereducationinstructionandtrainingprogram"tobeoffered aspartofthehealthcurriculuminpublicandcharterschoolsto pupilsingrades10to12.Theinstructionandtrainingshallbe madeavailablebythe2023-24schoolyearanddistrictsandcharter schoolswilloffersuchinstructionorasimilarprogram. The instructionshallincludebutisnotlimitedtohabitsandskills necessaryforthesafeoperationofmotorvehicles,distracted drivinghazards,andtrafficstopprocedures.
