ANNUALREPORTCARD(Section160.522)
Thebillrequiresschooldistrictstoincludeontheannualreportcarddatarelatedtoschool
disciplineincludinginschoolandoutofschoolsuspensions,removalofpupilswithdisabilities,and
expulsions.Foreachtypeofdisciplinaryoffenseaggregatedatamustbeprovidedasoutlinedin
thebill.
SUSPENSIONHEARINGANDLIMITS(Section167.161)
Thebillrequiresschoolboardstoconsiderreasonablealternativemeasurestosuspension,and
prohibitsthesuspensionofstudentsfortruancy,absences,orprioroffenses.Schoolsare
prohibitedfromsuspendingstudentsinpreschoolto3rdgrade.
