Currently,employeesofastateagencyorapoliticalsubdivisionareprohibitedfromplacinga
surveillancecameraorgamecameraonprivatepropertywithouttheconsentofthelandowneror
landowner'sdesignee,asearchwarrant,orpermissionfromthehighestrankinglawenforcement
chieforofficeroftheagencyundercertainconditions.Thisbillremovestheabilityforthehighest
rankinglawenforcementchieforofficertoapprovetheplacementofacameraonprivateproperty.
