Currently,whentheDirectorofPublicSafetyfindsprobablecause
toimmediatelysuspendapeaceofficerasaresultofa
disciplinarycomplaint,theDirectormay,withoutnoticeora
hearing,issueanemergencyordertosuspendtheofficer'slicense
untilfinaldeterminationofthedisciplinarycomplaint. Thisbill
requirestheDirectortoissuetheemergencyordertosuspendthe
officer'slicense,insteadofleavingituptheDirector's
discretion.
