ThisbillauthorizestheDivisionofProfessionalRegistration,withintheDepartmentofCommerce
andInsurance,tooverseeprofessionalbareknucklefightinginMissouri.TheDivisionwillaccept
applicationsandissuelicensesforcontestantsandlicensestoholdbareknucklefightingcontests.
TheDivisionmustissuemandatorymedicalsuspensionsforcontestantswholoseconsciousnessor
areinjuredasaresultofblowsreceivedtotheheadorbody.TheDivisionisalsoprohibitedfrom
issuinglicensestoparticipateinbareknucklefightingiftheindividualhasbeeninjuredinsucha
mannerthattheycannotcontinuetoparticipate.TheDivisionwillhavetheauthorityto
promulgaterulestogovernineveryparticularprofessionalbareknucklefighting.
