Employeesshallbeexemptfromanyemployerrequirement,and studentsfromapubliccollegeoruniversityrequirement,to receivemedicaltreatment,asdefinedinthebill,asacondition ofemploymentorparticipationinasponsoredactivityifthe employeeorstudentsubmitsarequestinwritingthatstates: (1)Theemployeeorstudentholdsasincerelyheldreligious belief,whichmayincludeanydeeplyheldnontheisticmoralbelief, thatforbidstheemployeefromreceivingthemedicaltreatmentand reasonableaccommodationwouldnotposeanunduehardship;or (2)Theemployeeorstudenthasreceivedwrittenrecommendation fromaphysicianadvisingtheemployeenottoreceivetherequired medicaltreatment.
