Officials from the Office of the Secretary of State, and the Joint Committee on Legislative
Research (Legislative Research and the Oversight Division) each assume the proposal will
have no fiscal impact on their respective organizations.
Oversight notes that the above mentioned agencies have stated the proposal would not have a
direct fiscal impact on their organizations. Oversight assumes that any potential savings to the
Missouri House of Representatives or the Missouri Senate from not holding a meeting every
other year or so, would not be material and will not be reflected in the fiscal note.
