483.083.1.(1)Eachcircuitclerk[shallannuallyreceiveascompensationthe

3 (1)Incountiesofthefirstclassification,thirty-sixthousandonehundredforty-five
4dollars;exceptthosecountieswherecourtisheldintwocities,inwhichinstancean
5additionalfourthousanddollarsshallbeaddedtothebasesalary;
6 (2)Inallcountiesofthesecondorfourthclassification,thirty-onethousandnine
7hundredseventy-eightdollars;exceptthosecountieswherecourtisheldintwocities,thirty-

28requirementsofthissubsectionandshallnotvarybasedontheclassificationofthe

30 3.IntheeventthejudgeorderschildsupportpaymentsinMarionCountytobemade
31throughtheclerk,theclerkshallannually,onorbeforeFebruaryfirstofeachyear,chargeten
32dollarsperyeartoeachsuchpersonsoobligatedtomakechildsupportpayments,whichfee
33shallbepaidtothestate.
34 4.Paymentofthecompensationprovidedinthissectionshallbepayableinequal
35monthlyinstallments,exceptthatthesalaryofthecircuitclerkofthecityofSt.Louisshallbe
36paidinsemimonthlyinstallmentsandexceptthatallsuchcompensationpaidbythestateshall
37bepaidininstallmentsasprovidedinsection33.100.Thecompensationofallcircuitclerks
38shallbepaidbythestateandtheyshallbeconsideredstateemployeesforallpurposesexcept
39themanneroftheirselection,appointmentorremovalfromoffice;exceptthat,thecircuit
40clerkofthecityofSt.Louis,thecircuitclerkofSt.LouisCountyandthecourtadministrator
41ofJacksonCountyshallcontinuetobepaidbythecityandthosecountiesandshallnot
42becomestateemployees,butthecityofSt.Louis,St.LouisCountyandJacksonCountyshall
43eachbepaidanamountwhichisequivalenttoacircuitclerk'ssalaryasprovidedin
44subsection3ofsection483.015.
45 5.Thecompensationprovidedinthissectionshallbeinlieuofallfees,andallfees
46collectedshallbepaidovertothestateortothecountiesandthecityofSt.Louisasotherwise
47providedbylaw.
