Thisbillestablishesthe"MissouriReligiousFreedomProtection
Act".Thebillprovidesthatnopublicofficialmayissueanorder
thathastheeffectoflimitingorprohibitingareligiousgroupor
placeofworshipfromholdingreligiousservicesormeetings.
Thisprohibitiondoesnotapplytoreligiousgroupsusingplacesof
worshiptointentionallycommitorplanactsofviolence. This
prohibitionalsodoesnotapplytoemergencyevacuationorders
involvingimminentdangerfromflooding,fires,tornadoes,
earthquakes,terroriststhreats,civilunrest,orhazardous
materialsincidents. Oncetheimminentdangerhaspassed,
religiousservicesshallbeallowedtoresume.Thisprohibition
shallnotbeinterpretedtoexemptplacesofworshipfromcomplying
withapplicablebuildingandfirecodes.
