2knownassection79.235,toreadasfollows:
79.235.1.Notwithstandinganylawtothecontraryandforanycityofthefourth
2classification,ifastatuteorordinanceauthorizesthemayorofacityofthefourth
3classificationtoappointamemberofaboardorcommission,anyrequirementthatthe
4appointedpersonbearesidentofthecityshallbedeemedsatisfiedifthepersonowns
5realpropertyorabusinessinthecity,regardlessofwhetherthepositiontowhichthe
6appointmentismadeisconsideredanofficerofthecityundersection79.250.
7 2.Notwithstandinganylawtothecontraryandforanycityofthefourth
8classification,ifastatuteorordinanceauthorizesamayortoappointamemberofa
9boardthatmanagesamunicipalutilityofthecity,anyrequirementthattheappointed

13 (2)Thepersonresideswithinfivemilesofthecitylimits;
14 (3)Thepersonownsrealpropertyorabusinessinthecity;
15 (4)Thepersonortheperson'sbusinessisacustomerofapublicutility,as
16describedundersection91.450,managedbytheboard;and
