WHEREAS,sanctuarycitiesandstatesposeathreattopublicsafetyanddisregard

5withfederalfunding:

7 NOWTHEREFORE BEITRESOLVEDthatthemembersoftheHouseof
8RepresentativesoftheOneHundredSecondGeneralAssembly,SecondRegularSession,the
9Senateconcurringtherein,herebyurgeCongresstopasslegislationthatprohibitsthe
10establishmentofsanctuarycitiesandstatesandwithholdsfederalfundingfromcitiesand
11statesthatdonotcomply;and

13 BEITFURTHERRESOLVEDthattheChiefClerkoftheMissouriHouseof
14Representativesbeinstructedtoprepareaproperlyinscribedcopyofthisresolutionforthe
15membersoftheMissouricongressionaldelegation.
