Uponvoterapproval,thisresolutionspecifiesthatonlycitizens
oftheUnitedStatesshallbeentitledtovoteinpublicelections.
Theresolutionspecifiesthatallelectionsbebypaperballot,as
wellasbyanymechanicalmethodprescribedbylaw.
Thisresolutionmandatesthatvotershaveonlyasinglevotefor
eachissueornumberofopenseatstobevotedonatanelection.
Theresolutionprovidesthatthepersonreceivingthegreatest
numberofvotesataprimaryelectionasapartycandidateforan
officebetheonlycandidateforthatpartyatthegeneral
election,unlessremovedorreplacedasprovidedbylaw.The
personreceivingthegreatestnumberofvotesatthegeneral
electionshallbedeclaredthewinner.
Theresolutionspecifiesthatvotingmachinesbetestedand
certifiedassecureinaccordancewithFederalstandardspriorto
eachelectioninwhichtheywillbeused.
