BeitenactedbytheGeneralAssemblyofthestateofMissouri,asfollows:
SectionA.Section190.800,RSMo,isrepealedandonenewsectionenactedinlieu
2thereof,tobeknownassection190.800,toreadasfollows:
190.800.1.Eachgroundambulanceservice[, exceptforanyambulanceservice
2ownedandoperatedbyanentityownedandoperatedbythestateofMissouri,includingbut
3notlimitedtoanyhospitalownedoroperatedbytheboardofcurators,asdefinedinchapter
4172,oranydepartmentofthestate,] shall,inadditiontoallotherfeesandtaxesnowrequired
5orpaid,payanambulanceservicereimbursementallowancetaxfortheprivilegeofengaging
6inthebusinessofprovidingambulanceservicesinthisstate.
7 2.Forthepurposeofthissection,thefollowingtermsshallmean:
8 (1)"Ambulance",thesamemeaningassuchtermisdefinedinsection190.100;
9 (2)"Ambulanceservice",thesamemeaningassuchtermisdefinedinsection
10190.100;
11 (3)"Engaginginthebusinessofprovidingambulanceservicesinthisstate",
12acceptingpaymentforsuchservices.
