Thisbillrequiresarandomdrawingtobeusedtodeterminethe
orderinwhichcandidates'nameswillappearontheballotforall
candidatesfilinginanynonpartisanelectionforapolitical
subdivisionorspecialdistrictwhofileadeclarationofcandidacy
onthefirstdayforfiling.
Thebillalsorequiresallcandidatesfilinginanonpartisan
electionforapoliticalsubdivisionorspecialdistricttosubmit
declarationsofcandidacytotheelectionauthorityforthecityor
countyinwhichthepoliticalsubdivisionorspecialdistrictis
located. Foranypoliticalsubdivisionorspecialdistrictlocated
inthejurisdictionofmorethanoneelectionauthority,candidates
willfileattheelectionauthoritywiththegreatestproportionof
thepoliticalsubdivisionorspecialdistrict'sregisteredvoters.
