Currently,newbornsafetyincubatorsareauthorizedtobeinstalled
incertainlocationsforarelinquishingparenttoleaveanewborn
child,upto45daysofage,withoutfearofprosecution. This
billmodifiestheagelimitofanewborninfantthatmaybebrought
toanewbornsafetyincubatorfrom45daysoldto90daysold.
Additionally,thebillcreatesthe"SafePlaceforNewbornsFund"
andprovidesthatthestateofMissouriiswillmatchmoneysfrom
theGeneralRevenueFund,intheamountofupto$10,000per
installationofnewbornsafetyincubators.
