Currently,alicensedestablishmentthatsells,vends,givesaway,
orotherwisesuppliesintoxicatingliquortoapersonundertheage
of21isguiltyofamisdemeanor.
Thisbillallowsanestablishmenttoserveintoxicatingliquortoa
personbetweentheagesof18and21ifthepersonisinthe
presenceof,accompaniedby,orsupervisedbyhisorherparent,
guardian,orspousewhoisthemselves21yearsofageorolder.
Thebillalsogivesalicensedestablishmentadefenseto
prosecutionfrommisdemeanorchargesiftheestablishmentsoldthe
intoxicatingliquortotheminorwithreasonablecausetobelieve
thattheminorwasinthepresenceof,accompaniedby,or
supervisedbyaparent,guardian,orspousewhoisthemselves21
yearsofageofolder.
