ThisbillrevisesthePropertyAssessmentCleanEnergyActby
makingitinapplicabletoresidentialproperty. Thebillprovides
guidanceforanyresidentialpropertiesapprovedfortheprogram
betweenJanuary1,2022,andAugust28,2025.Thebillclarifies
thatacleanenergydevelopmentboardcanacquireloansor
assessmentcontractsfromotherstatesandtheirmunicipalities and
politicalsubdivisionstoserveacommonpurposeofproviding
financingsupportforcreditenhancementforanyproject. This
billalsochangesthemaximumfinancingdurationoncommercial
propertyassessmentcleanenergyloansfrom20yearsto30years.
