Currently,apersonwhocommitsthecrimeofunlawfuluseof
weaponsisguiltyofaClassBmisdemeanor,expectwhenaconcealed
weaponiscarriedontoanypropertywhoseownerhasconspicuously
postedthepremisesasbeingofflimitstoconcealedfirearms.
Thisbillremovestheexceptionofaconspicuouslypostedsignthat
indicatesthepremisesasbeingofflimits.
Currently,theprocessforobtainingaconcealedcarrypermitor
lifetimeorextendedconcealedcarrypermitrequiresanaffidavit
attestingcertainrequirementsaremet.
Thisbillinsteadrequiresproofthattheapplicanthassatisfied
therequirementsofSection571.111,RSMo.
