SectionA.Chapter407,RSMo,isamendedbyaddingtheretoonenewsection,tobe
2knownassection407.3300,toreadasfollows:
407.3300.1.Anypersonadvertisingorsellingalloranypartofawoodproduct
2shallnotengageinanymisleadingordeceptivepracticesincluding,butnotlimitedto,
3misrepresentingaproductasawoodproductiftheproductisnotderivedorharvested
4fromwood.Forpurposesofthissection,"woodproduct",meansanyproductderived
5fromwoodincluding,butnotlimitedto,timberandlumber.
6 2.Thedepartmentofcommerceandinsuranceshallpromulgaterulestoenforce
7provisionsofthissection.Anyruleorportionofarule,asthattermisdefinedinsection
8536.010,thatiscreatedundertheauthoritydelegatedinthissectionshallbecome
9effectiveonlyifitcomplieswithandissubjecttoalloftheprovisionsofchapter536and,
10ifapplicable,section536.028.Thissectionandchapter536arenonseverableandifany
11ofthepowersvestedwiththegeneralassemblypursuanttochapter536toreview,to
12delaytheeffectivedate,ortodisapproveandannularulearesubsequentlyheld
13unconstitutional,thenthegrantofrulemakingauthorityandanyruleproposedor
14adoptedafterAugust28,2025,shallbeinvalidandvoid.
