BeitenactedbytheGeneralAssemblyofthestateofMissouri,asfollows:
SectionA.Section33.220,RSMo,isrepealedandonenewsectionenactedinlieu
2thereof,tobeknownassection33.220,toreadasfollows:
33.220.1.OnorbeforeOctoberfirstineachyearprecedingtheannualsessionofthe
2generalassembly,eachdepartmentshallsubmittothebudgetdirectorestimatesofits
3requirementsforappropriationsfortheyearcommencingonthefirstdayofJulynext.
4 2.Suchestimatesshallbeonformsprescribedbythehousebudgetchairandthe
5senateappropriationchairwiththeadviceofthebudgetdirector.Suchformsshall
6provide,asnearlyaspracticable,forauniformpresentationandclassificationofestimates.
7Blankcopiesofformsonwhichestimatesshallbesubmittedshallbesentbythebudget
8directortoeachdepartmentonorbeforeSeptemberfirstofeachsuchyear.
9 3.Estimatesshallbesubmittedforeachsubdepartment,division, orbureauofeach
10departmentdowntothesmallestorganizationunitandforthedepartmentasawhole.
11Separateestimatesshallbesubmittedforeachfiscalyear.Separateestimatesshallalsobe
12submittedforeachfundfromwhichrequestedappropriationsaretobemade,andonanother
13formsuchestimatesshallbeconsolidatedtoshowtotalestimatesfromallfunds.Allsuch
14estimatesshallbesosubdividedandclassifiedastoshowallestimatedexpendituresforall
15purposesinsuchdetailasmayberequiredbythebudgetdirector, housebudgetchair,and
16senateappropriationchair.

18thefederalprogramnumberofeachfederallyfundedprogramthedepartmentplansto
19administer,theamount,ifany,ofstatefundsrequiredforeachprogram,adescription
20adequatetogivethemembersofthelegislatureknowledgeoftheobjectivesofeachprogram,
21andsuchotherinformationasmayberequiredbythebudgetdirector, housebudgetchair,
22andsenateappropriationchair.
23 5.Estimatesshallshowseparatelytherequirementsforordinaryexpendituresfor
24operationandmaintenance,extraordinaryexpendituresforoperationandmaintenance,and
25capitalexpenditures.Eachestimateforextraordinaryexpenditureandforcapitalexpenditure
26shallbeexplainedindetail.Theestimatesshallbeaccompaniedbysuchreports,data,or
27otherexplanatorymatterasthedepartmentmaycaretosubmit.
