Thisbilladdschildcarefacilitiestothelistofauthorized
entitiesforwhichaphysicianmayprescribeanepinephrine
deliverydevice.
Thebillalsoestablishes"Elijah'sLaw"andrequireslicensed
childcareproviderstoadoptapolicyonallergypreventionand
response,withprioritygiventoaddressingdeadlyfood-borne
allergies. Thepolicymustcontainelementsspecifiedinthebill
andbeadoptedbeforeJuly1,2027.
TheDepartmentofElementaryandSecondaryEducationmustdevelopa
modelpolicyorpoliciesonallergypreventionandresponsebefore
July1,2026.
