countyplanningboardhearingnotices.
BeitenactedbytheGeneralAssemblyofthestateofMissouri,asfollows:
SectionA.Section64.231,RSMo,isrepealedandonenewsectionenactedinlieu
2thereof,tobeknownassection64.231,toreadasfollows:
64.231.1.Thecountyplanningboardshallhavepowertomake,adoptandmay
2publishanofficialmasterplanforthecountyforthepurposeofbringingaboutcoordinated
3physicaldevelopmentinaccordancewithpresentandfutureneeds.Themasterplanshallbe
4developedsoastoconservethenaturalresourcesofthecounty,toensureefficient
5expenditureofpublicfunds,andtopromotethehealth,safety,convenience,prosperityand
6generalwelfareoftheinhabitants.Themasterplanmayinclude,amongotherthings,aland
7useplan,studiesandrecommendationsrelativetothelocations,characterandextentof
8highways,railroads,bus,streetcarandothertransportationroutes,bridges,publicbuildings,
9schools,sewers,parksandrecreationfacilities,parkways,forests,wildliferefuges,damsand
10projectsaffectingconservationofnaturalresources.Thecountyplanningboardmayadopt
11themasterplaninwholeorinpart,andsubsequentlyamendorextendtheadoptedplanorany
12portionthereof.Beforetheadoption,amendmentorextensionoftheplanorportionthereof,
13theboardshallholdatleastonepublichearingthereon,fifteendays'noticeofthetimeand
14placeofwhichshallbepublishedinatleastonenewspaperhavinggeneralcirculationwithin
15thecounty,andnoticeofthehearingshallalsobeposted[atleastfifteendaysinadvance
16thereofinatleasttwoconspicuousplacesineachtownship] onthecounty'swebsite. The

intendedtobeomittedfromthelaw.Matterinbold-facetypeintheabovebillisproposedlanguage. 17hearingmaybeadjournedfromtimetotime.Theadoptionoftheplanshallbebyresolution

19Aftertheadoptionofthemasterplananattestedcopyshallbecertifiedtothecountyclerk
20andacopyshallberecordedintheofficeoftherecorderofdeeds.
21 2.Themasterplan,withtheaccompanyingmaps,diagrams,charts,descriptive
22matter,andreports,shallincludetheplansspecifiedbythissectionwhichareappropriateto
23thecountyandwhichmaybemadethebasisforitsphysicaldevelopment.Themasterplan
24maycompriseany,all,oranycombinationoftheplansspecifiedinthissection,forallorany
25partofthecounty.
