4otherschooladministrativebody;
5 (2)"Protectivehairstyles",includes,butisnotlimitedto,suchhairstylesas
6braids,locks,andtwists;
7 (3)"Race",includes,butisnotlimitedto,traitshistoricallyassociatedwithrace
8including,butnotlimitedto,hairtextureandprotectivehairstyles."Race"includesa
9perceptionthatapersonisassociatedwithanotherpersonwhohas,orisperceivedto
10have,anyqualitiesrelatingtorace;

29 3.Theprovisionsofsubsection2ofthissectionshallnotapplytoaneducational
30institutionthatiscontrolledbyareligiousorganizationiftheapplicationofsuch
31provisionswouldnotbeconsistentwiththereligioustenetsofthatorganization.
