FISCAL ANALYSIS
ASSUMPTION
§ 190.101 - Provisions relating to the State Advisory Council on Emergency Medical Services
Officials from the Department of Commerce and Insurance, the Department of Health and
Senior Services, the Department of Social Services, the Office of the Governor and the City
of Kansas City each assume the proposal will have no fiscal impact on their respective
organizations. Oversight does not have any information to the contrary. Therefore, Oversight
will reflect a zero impact in the fiscal note for these agencies.
Officials from the University of Missouri Health Care (MUHC) have reviewed the proposed
legislation and determined that as written it should not create expenses in excess of $100,000
annually.
Oversight assumes the costs incurred by the MUHC related to this proposal can be absorbed
within current resource levels.
Oversight only reflects the responses received from state agencies and political subdivisions;
however, other cities, fire protection districts, ambulance and EMS districts and hospitals were
requested to respond to this proposed legislation but did not. A listing of political subdivisions
included in the Missouri Legislative Information System (MOLIS) database is available upon
request.
