Beginningwiththe2026-27academicyear,thisbillcreatesthe “Career-TechCertificate(CTC)Program”andthe"Career-Tech Certificate(CTC)ProgramFund". ThisProgramisforstudentswhohavemettheGPA,attendance,and servicerequirementsfortheA+Programandareeligiblefor reimbursementoftuition,books,andfees,andareattendingan approvedinstitutionofpostsecondaryeducation,asdefinedinthe bill,foraneligibleprogramofstudyorspecifiedtraining program. Thebillprovidesreimbursementforstudentsforonecertificate programorcompletionofaprogramofstudyoruntilastudenthas completed150%ofthetimeusuallyrequiredtocompletesucha program.
