Currently,ahealthcareprovidermustnotknowinglyprescribeor
administercross-sexhormonesorpubertyblockingdrugsforthe
purposeofagendertransitionforanyindividualunder18yearsof
age.
ThisbillspecifiesthatafterMarch1,2026,prescriptionsfor
cross-sexhormonesorpuberty-blockingdrugsthatweregivento
individualsunder18yearsoldforthepurposeofassistingthe
individualwithagendertransitionpriortoAugust28,2023,will
nolongerbeconsideredvalid.
Thebillrepealstheexpirationclausefortherelatedsubsection.
