SectionA.Chapter290,RSMo,isamendedbyaddingtheretoonenewsection,tobe
2knownassection290.148,toreadasfollows:
290.148.Notwithstandinganyprovisionoflawtothecontrary,noemployerin
2thisstateshalldischargeorotherwiseterminatetheemploymentofanyemployeeonthe
3basisofsuchemployeehavingafirearmintheemployee'svehicleontheemployer's
4propertywhentheemployeeisarrivingtoorleavingfromtheemployer'spropertyfor
5employmentpurposesorwhentheemployeeisconductingactivitieswithinthecourse
6andscopeofhisorheremployment,providedthattheemployee'svehicleislocked,the
7firearmisnotvisible,andtheemployeeisnotprohibitedfrompossessingafirearmby
