ThefollowingisasummaryoftheHouseCommitteeSubstituteforHB 390. Thisbillrequiresreferralagencies,individualsorentitiesthat providereferralstofacilitiesforfeesthatarecollectedfrom eithertheprospectiveresidentorthefacility,todiscloseto prospectiveresidentsortheirrepresentative: (1)Writtenorelectronicdocumentationoftheexistenceofany relationshipsbetweenthereferralagencyandthefacility,as specifiedinthebill; (2)Thatthereferralagencyreceivesafeefromthefacilityfor thereferral;and (3)Writtendocumentationoftheagreementbetweenthereferral agencyandtheprospectiveresidentorrepresentative thereof,with requirementstobeincludedfortheagreementthatarespecifiedin thebill.
