12allpregnantwomenwhoareseenbythehealthcareprofessionalasearlyaspossibleat
13theonsetofprenatalcareandthroughoutthepregnancy,includingduringthefirst,
14second,andthirdtrimesters.
15 4.Thedepartmentofhealthandseniorservicesshallestablishguidelinesfor
16healthcareprofessionalstreatingmentaldisordersandmentalillnessesinpregnancy.
17Thedepartmentshallmaketheguidelinesavailableonitswebsite.

20receivingtreatmentforsuchdisorderorillness,thehealthcareprofessionalshall:
21 (1)Providetreatmenttothepatient;or
22 (2)Referthepatientfortreatment.
23 6.Nothinginthissectionshallbeconstruedtoauthorizeviolationofthe
24confidentialityrequirementsofanystateorfederallaw.
191.744.Thedepartmentofhealthandseniorservicesshallestablishaperinatal
2navigatorprogramforthepurposesofengagingpregnantwomeninearlyprenatalcare
3andprovidingreferralstopregnantwomenforwraparoundservicesandhomevisiting
4programsinthelocalcommunity.
