Section 620.471 – Historical Trails Signage
Officials from the Department of Economic Development (DED) are assuming a cost of
$2,000 per sign. With 29 trails listed, 58 signs minimum will be required for a cost of $116,000.
Oversight does not have information to the contrary and therefore, Oversight will reflect the
estimate as provided by the DED.

FISCAL DESCRIPTION
This act designates the “Historic Legacy Trails of Missouri”. Costs for these designations shall
be paid by the Department of Economic Development.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not
require additional capital improvements or rental space.
