Currently,employeesofastateagencyorapoliticalsubdivision
areprohibitedfromplacingasurveillancecameraorgamecameraon
privatepropertywithouttheconsentofthelandowneror
landowner'sdesignee,asearchwarrant,orpermissionfromthe
highestrankinglawenforcementchieforofficeroftheagency
undercertainconditions. Thisbillremovestheabilityforthe
highestrankinglawenforcementchieforofficertoapprovethe
placementofacameraonprivateproperty.
