Currently,allgovernmententitiesissuinglicenses,certificates,
registrations, orpermitsinMissourimustprovidetheDirectorof
theDepartmentofRevenuewiththenameandSocialSecuritynumber
ofeachapplicantforlicensureorlicenseeofsuchentitieswithin
onemonthoftheinitialapplicationortherenewalapplication.
Ifthelicenseeisdelinquentonanystatetaxesorhasfailedto
filestatetaxincometaxreturnsinthelastthreeyears,the
DirectoroftheDepartmentofRevenuemustsendnoticetothe
governmententityandlicensee. Inthecaseofsuchdelinquencyor
failuretofile,thelicensee'slicensewillbesuspendedwithin90
daysafternoticeofsuchdelinquencyorfailuretofile,unless
theDirectoroftheDepartmentofRevenueverifiesthatsuch
delinquencyorfailurehasbeenremediedorarrangementshavebeen
madetoachievesuchremedy. 
Thisbillrepealsthoseprovisions.
ThisbillisthesameasHB2699(2024).
PROPONENTS: Supporterssaythatthisremovesunnecessaryburdens
onobtainingandrenewingprofessionallicenses. Thereareother
waysthattheDepartmentofRevenuecancollecttaxesthatare
owed.Thisisaworkforcefriendlybill.
