Thisbillspecifiesthatapersoncommitstheoffenseofunlawful
useofweaponsifheorsheknowinglycarriesafirearmorany
otherweaponreadilycapableoflethaluseintoanyparadezone
duringparadehours,asdefinedinthebill.
Thebillspecifiesthatnovalidconcealedcarrypermitofanytype
willauthorizeanypersontocarryconcealedfirearmsintoany
paradezoneduringparadehours.Onlyapeaceofficer,maycarrya
firearmintoaparadezoneduringparadehours.
Thebillrequiresaparadehosttoensurethatallparadeattendees
gothroughacheckpointtoentertheparadezone.Atthe
checkpoint,attendeeswillpassthroughametaldetectororbe
scannedbysecurity. Anyattendeefoundtobeinpossessionofa
firearmmustbedeniedentranceintotheparadezone.
