WHEREAS,themembersoftheMissouriHouseofRepresentativesenjoyalong,
2proudtraditionoffulfillingtheirresponsibilitiestothecitizensofthisstatewhileupholding
3thevirtuesrepresentedbythe"GloryofMissouri":Knowledge,Liberty,Equality,Law,
4Justice,Fraternity,Education,Progress,Honor,Truth,Virtue,Temperance,Enterprise,and
5Charity;and

7 WHEREAS,thesevirtuesareengravedintheHouseChamberoftheStateCapitol
8withtheinscription:"Alltheforegoinghumanqualitiesbindintoonetheme,theGloryof
9Missouribecausenopeopleattainthesevirtuesunlesstheyaregreat";and

11 WHEREAS,the"GloryofMissouri"Awardwascreatedtoencouragethevaluesheld
12bytheearlyleadersofMissouriandtorecognizethosestandardsasexemplifiedinschools
13andcommunitiesbythisstate'syoungpeople,thefutureofMissouri:

15 NOWTHEREFORE BEITRESOLVEDthatwe,themembersoftheMissouri
16HouseofRepresentatives,OneHundredThirdGeneralAssembly,herebygrantpermissionto
17usetheHouseChamberforthepurposeofpresentingthe"GloryofMissouri"Awardstothe
18studentsofRockwoodSouthMiddleSchoolonMonday,April14,2025,from1:00p.m.to
192:00p.m.;

21 BEITFURTHERRESOLVEDthatthesponsorofthisHouseResolution,
22RepresentativeHollyJones,orherdesignee,shallbepresentintheHouseChamberandshall
23assumeresponsibilityforthegroup'sactionsforthedurationoftheaforementionedevent.

25Specialnote:Participantsintheaforementionedeventshallconductthemselvesinamanner
26thatpreservesthedignityandhonoroftheHouseofRepresentatives.Suchpersonsshall
27behaverespectfullyanddressappropriatelyfortheoccasion.Fooditems,drinks,and
28smokingareprohibitedontheflooroftheHouseandlowergallery,andparticipantsshall
