SENATE COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE

SENATE BILLS NOS. 504 & 422
AN ACT
To amend chapter 227, RSMo, by adding thereto three
new sections relating to the designation of
infrastructure.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 227, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto
three new sections, to be known as sections 227.840, 227.841,
and 227.871, to read as follows:
227.840. The portion of U.S. Highway 54 from one mile
east of the bridge over the Middle River to one mile west of
the bridge over the Middle River in Callaway County shall be
designated as "Celia Memorial Highway". The department of
transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs
designating such highway, with the costs to be paid by
private donations.
227.841. The portion of State Highway 161 from State
Highway Z continuing north to CRD 403 in Pike County shall
be designated as "Adam Ellis Memorial Highway". The
department of transportation shall erect an d maintain
appropriate signs designating such highway, with the costs
to be paid by private donations.
227.871. The bridge on Interstate 70 crossing over CST
Van Burnt Boulevard in Jackson County shall be designated as
"Officer James Muhlbauer K-9 Officer Champ Memorial
Bridge". The department of transportation shall erect and
maintain appropriate signs designating such bridge, with the
costs to be paid by the department of transportation.
