AN ACT TO DIRECT THE STATE AUDITOR TO PERIODICALLY AUDIT PRIVATE 2
SCHOOLS THAT RECEIVE STATE FUNDS. 3
The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: 4
SECTION 1. G.S. 147-64.6(c) reads as rewritten: 5
"(c) Responsibilities. – The Auditor is responsible for the following acts and activities: 6

(24) The Auditor shall periodically audit nonpublic schools that enroll students 8
who receive scholarship grants under Part 2A of Article 39 of Chapter 115C 9
of the General Statutes." 10
SECTION 2. This act is effective when it becomes law. 11
