The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:
LB18 amends the deadline for explanatory statements for proposed Constitutional
amendments submitted to voters during a special session of the Legislature for the general
election ballot to at least sixty days before the general election.
