The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:
LB143 will ensure that preliminary and advanced enrollment policies apply to children
of military families with individualized family service plans and individualized education
programs. This will connect military families moving into Nebraska to services faster, and
minimize learning loss for students.
