The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:
LB150 removes language allowing for a reduced mandatory minimum when sentencing a
habitual criminal for for a felony conviction that does not meet the requirements in Section 1,
subsection c of 29-2221.
