The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:

The intent of LB 168 is to prohibit 340B drug manufacturers from interfering with or denying
the sale of 340B drugs to any pharmacy that is under contract with the 340B entity to
distribute 340B drugs. It prevents drug manufacturers from implementing a rebate model for
the reimbursement of 340B drugs and allows for the Nebraska Attorney General or county
attorneys to enforce compliance with the 340B program.
