The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:

The intent of LB 172 is to update the Child Pornography Prevention Act to include Artificial
Intelligence or computer-generated content. The bill also criminalizes knowingly receiving
child pornography.€
