LB 19 changes the dates for primary and gener al election s for cities of the metropolitan class to coincide with the statewide primary and
general elections.
The Secretary of State estimates no fiscal impact. This appears to be reasonable.
The Nebraska Accountability and Disclosure Commission estimates the need to reprint forms and instruction materials as well as notify
and educate affected persons. The total estimate for these activities is $2,000 and will occur in fiscal year 2026-27. There is no basis
to disagree with these estimates.
