Summary of purpose and/or changes:
LB191 adds broadband and communications companies to the list of companies whose facilities receive special
protection under the law.  Persons who willfully and maliciously break, injure, destroy, or otherwise interfere with the
poles, wires, or facilities of those companies are now subject to criminal mischief penalties under section 28-519.
 
 
Explanation of amendments:
The Committee considered and adopted an amendment which accomplishes the following:
Adds wireless infrastructure companies to the list of companies that receive additional protection from willful and
malicious interference with their facilities.
