The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be
accomplished thereby:
LB 203 changes the role of public health directors with regard to directed health measures by
providing guidelines and requiring a majority of elected officials on the board of health for
the area affected by the directed health measure to vote on the measure.
